Welcome to our little corner of the web. You have found Attachment Parenting Cleveland, or APC as we like to call ourselves. We are devoted to various aspects of attachment parenting, from a mainly local perspective. Our members are generally parents in the Northeast Ohio area, many but not all in greater Cleveland, who are committed to attachment parenting and other "alternative" ideas. A number practice extended breastfeeding as well as cloth diapering. Many do not vaccinate, or only do so selectively. Some are vegetarians or vegans. We have folks who are just beginning on the parenting path, and others who are grandparents.
This site is a resource for providing information and connecting with other likeminded, or at least open minded parents in our area. Most of our activity happens in our community forum, which is private but open to new members. If you are interested in joining, you will need to follow the Community link and create an account for yourself.
Warning: Our forum does not tolerate the junk found on many message boards. Spammers, trolls and the like rarely get very far in our membership process, which is exactly why we have a process. We want a place where we can feel reasonably safe to express ourselves and discuss sometimes very personal issues safely.
